Basic eForm Design Quick-Start

TCi recognizes that classroom learning can only take you so far. What you really need is the right set of tools to get in there and start working. The Basic eForm Design Quick-Start session is designed to get you off the ground and running in a matter of hours instead of days.

This accelerated learning course is designed to provide introductory techniques for using Adobe LiveCycle Designer to create electronic PDF documents (eForms) that can compliment, or supersede, other means of collecting and presenting enterprise data. After the completion of this course, you will be able to create static and dynamic interactive eForms that can reduce data collection and processing errors, and enhance end-user experience.

The course first introduces the basics of eForm design and describes how to design your eForms for efficient data exchange. As the course progresses, more advanced techniques are covered that enable you to add intelligence to your form and to create dynamic layouts that react to the data or to user interactions.

Course Format:

This accelerated learning session is a 3 hour remote webinar with a group audience format conducted by a professional TCi eForm designer. (private and customized sessions are available)

Course Prerequisites:

To gain the most from this course, you should have an understanding of form-based business processes and experience with any drag-and drop oriented design tool. Some understanding of XML and JavaScript while not required can prove useful. In later courses a strong understanding of XML and JavaScript is highly suggested.

Course Objectives:

After completing this course, attendees will be able to:

Create a static interactive eForms, that include master and body pages using Adobe LiveCycle Designer, and manually configure appropriate Designer objects
Configure data validation options for form fields
Import and convert forms into a standardized PDF format in LiveCycle Designer
