Our goal is simple: provide qualified drivers with access to reliable equipment, predictable payment options, and a practical path toward truck ownership.
Transparent Payment Structure - Understand the major costs and obligations before signing.
Path Toward Ownership - Lease-to-own options can help qualified drivers move toward owning their equipment.
Transferable Value - Qualifying accumulated ownership credits may be transferable between eligible trucks under applicable program terms.
Driver Independence - Our model is intended to support drivers operating their own businesses rather than creating unnecessary dependence on a single dispatcher.
Carefully Selected Equipment - TCI focuses on commercially serviceable trucks with appropriate specifications, maintenance history and warranty options.
Long-Term Relationships - Our objective is not simply to complete a transaction. We want successful drivers who can remain part of the TCI program as their businesses grow.
Our truck lease program is designed for qualified drivers who need access to equipment without purchasing a truck upfront.
Depending on the truck and program selected, the lease may include:
Fixed periodic lease payments
Defined lease term
Clearly identified maintenance responsibilities
Insurance requirements established before delivery
Vehicle inspection and condition documentation
Optional purchase opportunities when available
This option may be suitable for drivers who want to operate independently while maintaining greater flexibility.
Want to work toward owning your truck?
TCI’s Lease-to-Own Program is designed to provide qualified drivers with a structured pathway from operating a truck to potentially owning it.
Your agreement will establish the truck value, payment schedule, lease term, ownership conditions, insurance requirements, maintenance responsibilities, and other applicable costs before you take possession of the vehicle.
The objective is transparency: you should understand what you are paying, what you are responsible for, and how you can reach ownership.
TCI’s program is designed around the driver as an independent business operator.
Participation in our truck lease or lease-to-own program is not intended to require employment by TCI or the use of a particular dispatcher, broker, or carrier, except where operational, financing, insurance, regulatory, or contractual requirements make specific arrangements necessary.
Qualified drivers can build their own business relationships while meeting the requirements of their lease agreement and applicable transportation regulations.
One of our goals is to create a program that recognizes the investment a responsible driver makes over time.
For qualifying lease-to-own agreements, certain eligible payments or accumulated ownership credits may be transferable toward another qualifying truck within the TCI program, subject to the applicable agreement, vehicle condition, outstanding obligations, and TCI approval.
This means that changing trucks does not necessarily mean starting your ownership journey from zero.
Specific transfer values and eligibility will always be determined by the applicable lease-to-own agreement.
Our program is primarily intended for commercial drivers and/or owner-operators who are ready to manage trucking as a business.
Preferred applicants may include drivers with:
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Verifiable commercial driving experience
Acceptable driving and safety history
Ability to obtain required insurance coverage
Stable and verifiable income or operating history
Understanding of commercial trucking expenses
Ability to maintain appropriate operating reserves
Commitment to preventive maintenance and responsible equipment operation
Approval requirements may vary depending on the truck, program, insurance provider and financing structure.
The following example is provided only to demonstrate how a typical program could be structured.
Example Truck Value: $67,000
Extended Warranty Example: $12,000
Illustrative Total Equipment Package: $79,000
A driver’s actual lease or lease-to-own payment will depend on factors including:
Truck purchase price
Vehicle year, mileage and condition
Warranty coverage
Program term
Financing costs
Insurance requirements
Maintenance arrangement
Down payment or initial payment, if applicable
Driver qualifications and operating history
Illustrative Monthly Payment
For example,
Example1: Financing a $79,000 equipment package over 60 months at approximately 10.75% APR would produce a financing cost of approximately $1,708 per month before TCI lease/program fees, insurance, maintenance reserves, taxes, registration and other applicable costs.
Example2: for a $79,000 equipment package with a $15,000 down payment, the remaining $64,000 financed over 60 months at approximately 10.75% APR would result in an estimated financing payment of approximately $1,384 per month before TCI lease/program fees, insurance, maintenance reserves, taxes, registration, and other applicable costs.
Eligible payments or accumulated ownership credits may be transferred toward another qualifying truck within the TCI program over the 60 months period of the example, allowing drivers to change trucks without starting their ownership journey from zero.
This financing example represents the underlying equipment economics only and is not a TCI lease offer or final driver payment quote.
Every applicant will receive the applicable payment terms before signing an agreement.
